Blog titles (captions?) on top of Header image in Organisation theme
-
I am using the Organization theme. How do I get the Title and summary of my blogs to be shown across the Header images as in the demo? I understand that they are featured images and set as slide-show. I am new to WordPress and trying to find my way around it. Haven’t a clue about CSS but can get help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – To do that, you need to edit your Home page, and apply the “Home Page” template in the Page Attributes module:

I got some help and I think it is sorted out. One thing I am very disappointed with in the Organization theme – it only allows widgets in the footer, it actually said that in the description but I didn’t pick it up. Facebook and Twitter links are an essential element of our website and having them in the footer really does not do the job at all.
Is there any way a sidebar could be used/inserted? Or that a widget could be inserted into the existing spaces (that doesn’t sound likely!) -
Hi there – There are sidebars in the theme, but they don’t show with the Home Page template. They still show on other pages and individual posts, though, as you can see here in the demo:
