Blog to Facebook

    How do I get blog to show on Facebook? I tried to type nancyreedyblog.wordpress.com but it shows it doesn’t exist…

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello Nancy!

    if you search your blog URL on Facebook, its internal search engine can’t find it because your blog is not properly an ‘account’ or a ‘profile’ belonging to the Facebook sphere. FB internal search engine works like Google, but only for everything which has been ‘registered’ on Facebook itself. I hope this is clear :)

    With that said, there are many ways to show your blog on Facebook. The first and most used one is to share your pages and posts from your WordPress.com blog. You can add social media sharing buttons at the end of every post and page to engage your user’s sharing.     On Facebook, you can paste your blog URL on a status box to show this as a status to your friends.
    You can also add it as a permanent information among the personal details of your FB profile to show on your wall (on your main profile page, click on Update info on the right and then ass your blog address under the ‘Edit your contact and basic info’ section).
