  how do i make my blog act like a wesbite? I created a blog using the Oxygen theme. I want it to act like a website instead of a blog. I have my static home page and all my other pages have been created without blogrolls showing, etc. I have a domain purchased and want this blog to use the domain and act more like a website. Help!

  Thank you! Will I have to host the site if I map the domain? Or do I receive free hosting and the domain is just pointed at?

  All sites at WordPress.com are hosted for free. It’s only the upgrades like domain mapping that cost money.

  Hosting here is always FREE – you pay for the mapping $ 13.– / year – your blog / site will just get a second name added to it – all the old links will keep on working – you will still work in the http://jess00um.wordpress.com/ dashboard

  Please read the instructions in the link – domain mapping is a two step process – don’t get fancy – just follow the instructions
