Blog traffic down by 75% over a long period of time.

I wonder if anyone has any ideas to help. My quite long-standing blog at http://www.stephenliddell.co.uk has just been losing readers and hits all year long. This time last year I was getting 400+ a day and now I am struggling to get to 100.
I haven’t changed the format, subject or style of the blog nor the frequency of posts. I notice that Google isn’t bringing in any traffic to older posts that in years gone by have had thousands or tens of thousands of hits.
The overall decline has been slow and steady but is now reaching the point where I have seemingly less readers each day than in 2012 which makes little sense to me.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello stephenliddell ,
if Google no longer brings in visits for old posts, you can try to copy and republish them today, with a few modifications. One post per day or per week, and do not forget to delete the old post each time. You can try that …

Hi there, republishing old material via Reblogging and adding an “in hindsight” comment on the material is one way to generate new interest.
You’ll find some further suggestions for highlighting archived content in this Daily Post article from WordPress.com: https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/12/12/repurposing-evergreen-content/
Hope that helps!
