Blog trains?
-
Transferred over from Blogger several months ago & just got an email from (email visible only to moderators and staff) stating a “friend” has invited me & my blog to join the blog train. Sounds weird, a little leery & no idea who the “friend” is. Is anyone familiar?

I avoid all such sites like I avoid the plague but other bloggers may have other advice to give.

Yeah, wise to do so! I’m generally pretty good about this sort of thing too & don’t just click any ole links (especially when they appear so fishy like this one does, & claiming the possibility of more visitors & readers). I’m still curious though & wonder if anyone can shed some light for us. And even more suspicious, notice how the ” blog train pure mail . us ” address where it was sent from was altered in my initial email above?

The forum software here redacts email addresses. We Volunteers do not provide support by email. Posting an email addresses to this public forum that anyone on the internet can access it means email harvesting spam bot harvest them, so that’s why they are redacted.

Ah, good to know. I’ve never seen that happen before outside of a forum, & could wrap my mind around it with personal emails but not from a service so to speak like this one. It does make perfect sense, thanks for the insight : )
