  I want to transfer my wordpress.com blog to wordpress.org, without losing my stats, is this possible?

  Yes. After you make the move, provided you have installed and activated the JetPack plugin http://jetpack.me on your WordPress.org install, and you post the relevant URL(s) into a forum thread here, Staff will do the transfer of both subscribers and stats for you.

  1. Hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/
  2. Set up a WordPress.org install and equip it with a theme and plugins.
  3. Purchase a site redirect upgrade from wordpress.com
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/
  4. Export your content out of your WordPress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ and import it into the install.

  You can purchase a site redirect upgrade if you have not purchased domain mapping.

  Are you leaving WordPress.com? Would you like to redirect yourblogname.wordpress.com (as well as all of your permalinks) to your new domain name?
