  I had been writing a blog on one of my country’s blogging site that was recently shut down. They made it an option to download an .xml file so it could be moved to WordPress blog. And here is the problem. Their following instructions are not in line with what I find on the actual WordPress… Could you help me? Perhaps a link with some step by step tutorials? I have done my googling but I only find videos on how to do it with WordPress website, not a WordPress blog and this is what I am interested in. Thank you all in advance. Ben

  There is no difference between a website or a blog. Are you following WordPress.com instructions? See: https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
