Blog transfer, next steps?

  Hi,
  I recently transferred my blog to a self-hosted site. All the entries, pages, and media have been imported. All my followers have been migrated to the new site. I just need to know if there is a way to make sure my wordpress blog transfers people to the new location. It looks like traffic is coming from the wordpress reader and old posts. I don’t want to shut down the old blog, but I want people to access the correct page.
