Blog Update

    Hi. I am on the free plan and thinking of moving to personal so I can have my own domain name. My media kits and all information that I have sent to PR companies have my .wordpress address. Will the old page automatically be diverted to the new one once created or will it show as invalid page?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Nothing on your site will change if you upgrade – all your content will still be there, and the paid features of the plan will just be activated.

    If you connect a custom domain, all old links for the free address will still work, as that address is not removed, only hidden by the custom domain. We will automatically redirect any traffic to the free address to the new domain instead.
