  I’ve did forum searches and can’t seem to find an answer to this so will give it a go or if someone can point this out to me if it’s already answered, I’d appreciate it. I do occasional updates (adding tags, etc) to my blog and will sometimes see that someone has picked up the older post and put it on Twitter likes it a new article like this acct did:

  I want to avoid that. Is there a way to avoid this in future? Is it best to set my blog to private in order to avoid this? Thanks for all that you do.

  Making the blog private is the only way to prevent anyone for sharing the content of any of your posts in social media sites.

  To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings
