Blog Upgrade options

  Not blogged for a while and was going to get the space upgrade, now it appears that isn’t an option anymore. why? one of the things I liked about wordpress was the ability to upgrade what I wanted, I don’t want a custom domain or custom themes thank you I just want added space! $99 is out of my price range, wouldn’t you rather have some of my cash rather than none of it??? Daft.

  yes it’s daft – but welcome to the new WordPress.COM

  many of us argued in the forum against the new Cable TV Pricing policy of selling you crap you did not need or want – but we lost – originally if you had an older account you were grandfathered in at the old price – but then in the middle of the night with no announcement (I wonder why) the old accounts were only able to buy the way overpriced upgrades unless you were renewing a single upgrade

  Well, I will carry on as a free site then. WordPress will not be getting any money from me. It is a shame that hobbyist bloggers are being priced out. It’s not like WordPress need the extra revenue…. idiots.
