  I wanted to register myself as http://chetan.wordpress.com.

  The blog URL http://chetan.wordpress.com/ is already registered. But when I go to the URL I get a message “The authors have deleted this blog. The content is no longer available.”

  In the event am I not eligible to register that URL in my name. It seems that http://chetan.wordpress.com/ is not actively used.

  Would highly appreciate your help with this.

  I’m sorry but we do not recycle blog names – it cannot be re-used.
