  I want my self-hosted blog URL but also to keep my blog. I tried masking my blog URL to my blog but that didn’t work. Is there a way to do what I want without some crazy expense?

  Hi there, if you already have a domain name that you’d like mapped to your WordPress.com site, you can purchase a domain mapping upgrade for $13/year. Instructions for setting that up are here: Map an Existing Domain.
