  I was trying to sign up for having my url just this “MyAdvocareBlog.com” without the “wordpress.com”. Can you please give me the directions to do this? I was at the home page and clicked “my own url” but for some reason it accepted me without prompting me to buy the domain.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I did this my friend, I tried to purchase the upgrade, but it wont let me select the url without the .wordpress

  It’s a two step process – first register the new URL (MyAdvocareBlog.com) then purchase the Domain Mapping Upgrade – WordPress.com is very sticky about the order – your new URL has not been registered yet so WordPress.com will not let you upgrade or anything until the new URL is registered.

  Hi auxclass! Thank you for helping, I have one more question. Now that I have completed the registration and purchased the upgrade, I have now made .com my primary domain name, but for some reason when I click on it, it my browser tells me “sorry, try another search”. Do you know why this is?
