I deleted a blog url but want to retrieve it. Could you please make it available again?

Deleting a blog is forever, the URL cannot be recycled and reused.

Or you can purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade as in that case it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

I read the “recycling blog names” pages and it applies to different users. I just made this blog and mistakenly deleted it. Isn’t it possible to make it available again?

I’m sorry but you interpreted that section incorrectly. I have been here for 6 1/2 years. There is no recycling of any deleted blog URLs at WordPresss.com.

So does it become available once google “uncaches” it in 3 to 6 months? I read something about that but didn’t fully get it.

All .wordpress.com blogs are on sub-domains. If you can purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
