blog url transfer

  i had two blogs and i wanted to switch their urls. when i tried to change the blog url, it wouldn’t let me, saying the url already existed. so i deleted the blog with the url i wanted to use, thinking this would free it up. the blog has been deleted, but when i try to use its old title for the blog i want to change, it is STILL saying the url is already taken. i really want to use this url, and i know it isn’t taken by anyone else. HELP!
  i just read below, and realize why you wouldn’t want ANOTHER person to take this blog name/url.,.but it isn’t another person! it’s just me! my other blog url was voyageintotheordinary.wordpress.com is there any way this can be reversed?

  I’m sorry but the answer is that deleted blog URLs are not recycled here. Confirm by reading:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
