  Hi

  I’ve successfully changed the homepage of my site so that it’s now a static page.

  Is it possible to designate another second page as my blogging page? (with all the functionality that I used to have when my homepage was my blog page)

  Hi there – yes, you can do that.

  First, create a new page and call it Blog – or whatever else you’d like it to be named. Don’t add anything else to the page, it’s just a placeholder.

  Next, go into Settings > Reading – and four lines from the top next to Posts page: – select Blog from the drop-down list.

  Scroll down and click the blue “Save Changes” button.

  That should be it. Let me know how it goes.

  Excellent – sorted thanks!
  Although you didn’t specify saving the second page before designating it as the ‘posts’ page – no matter I got it right 2nd go!

  Yes, any page or post you create always needs to be saved – sorry that wasn’t clear but I’m glad you got it sorted!
