Blog Viewing While Logged In
-
When I log out, the ‘About’ section disappears from the top of the right column. This is how others would see it, then. I would like to be able to be logged in and see my blog as visitors see it. Any ideas?
Thanks, Eric -
Well, never mind. I tried again, and the ‘About’ section stays in there now even while logged out. Guess I’m stuck with it there. :( Thanks

G’day,
Unfortunately you did not post the url for your blog. That means I can’t see what you are describing. Two themes I know of Misty Look and Regulus do display an About section at the top of the sidebar in default mode. Once you place widgets in your sidebar this “About” default display is overridden by your choices and disappears. Is this what you are referring to?

When logged in and at your blog, the only difference is that you may see an “edit” link in your posts (depending on the theme you are using), and you will see the blue bar at the top of the pages so you can get to our dashboard easily. You will also not see the name, email address and website fields on the comment box since you are logged in and wordpress already knows that stuff.
