Blog visibility within WordPress Reader

  Hello,
  I wanted to know if setting the visibility to ‘discourage web crawlers’ does make the blog still appear in the wordpress reader of any random non-following users.

  My objective is to keep the visibility to public, but avoid unexpected visitors to read my blog without me giving directly the url to them. Is this the case?

  If you choose to ‘discourage web crawlers’, then your blog will not appear in the WordPress.com Reader tag listings: https://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts
