Blog vs Author Page
-
I started a Blog (most recent first), but I really want an Author Page (multiple stories, most recent last). How do I change my site into an Author Page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m sorry but there isn’t any universal setting which changes the order of the posts. Blogs are always displayed in reverse chronological order on WordPress.com.
But you can display an archive of all posts and change its sort-order. More info here –

Wow, thanks for the info! And I can see how the entry you linked me to can help. Ok, so all Blogs are always most recent first. If I start a new WordPress site as an Author page, will I still be locked into most recent at the top? My goal is to have a main Author page, and add links to my stories (generally added / posted most recent entry last) from that page, and hopefully all the stories can be accessed from the same main page. Can I do that in WordPress? I just need to know if this is possible, or how to do this if it is. Thanks again for your help!

With regards to display order, that’s one of the options that’s available in @omkarbhagat’s link.
https://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/#options
Simply add order=asc to sort posts ascending.

Ah, ok, so I could set it up so the first page they see is the list of chapters, and they could then read it in order like a book. And, this will still let me actually edit the chapters from start to finish, even though, as a Blog, the most recent addition would otherwise be first. But if I direct them to the 'in order' index right away, that won't matter. And I getting it right? Thanks bunches for your help!
