blog vs. domain name

  If I just want to upgrade my blog pages to a domain name will it all transfer or will I have to create a new website? Is it still as easy to post?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Think of a domain upgrade as being like a sign on the internet with your name on it pointing to the place where your blog is. Buying a domain upgrade is not the same as purchasing domain hosting. With a domain upgrade, your site is still hosted here and you’ll use it exactly as you have been doing. The name simply points your readers to the same site you have now.

  Or think of it like going to a party where you put on a name tag. Your real name could be “Elizabeth Brown,” but you write “Liz” on your name tag because that’s what people call you. You are still yourself, but you have a nickname.

  So, yes it is still easy to post. There is no transfer of your site’s content.
