  Why is this called a blog instead of a site?

  Hi,

  A blog is a type of website that shows that newest content at the top of the page.

  You can configure WordPress to look like a blog or you can also set it up to look more like a “traditional” website. But, in WordPress, these two terms (blog and website) are usually used interchangeably.
