Blog Widget issue
-
I am looking to import widgets for Etsy Sellers from Cr8tivity.com and an Etsy mini from my Etsy shop. I can’t find any place where I can do that on my new WordPress Blog. I have looked up and down the dashboard menu with no success. I have a blog on Blogger and want to remove it but can’t until I get that squared away. I am not that stupid with websites and blogs in general but this is really irritating. Is that not allowed?
I also want to import all my previous blog (Blogger) favorite links. Is there an easy way to do that?
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Timethief, thanks for reponding…that all sounds great but where do I go on WP to install this widget from Etsy and Cr8tivity? I’ve seen this article before but it doesn’t give me an idea on how to do it. I am no computer expert, but this is really tough to put together!
Thanks so much

Please use the learn wordpress.com tutorial. All widgets are installed here > Appearance > Widgets and we cannot use any Javascript widgets.

Ok I tried to go to the Tutorial, there is nothing about Widgets, so sorry to be a pain but I really do not get it! Went to Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and there are maybe 20 to pick from and none have the place to enter that code!!!!
Thanks again -
You need to get the code whfrom whichever site it is that you wish to post the widget for and get the code. The code must be pure HTML – not JavaScript. Then you go here > Dashbaoard > Apperance > Widgets and you locate a Text widget, click it to open it, paste the code into it and click ‘save” and “close”.

doesn’t seem to be working…but will try at it. Code disappears and that seems because it’s not accepted. Thanks again for all your help. I really appreciate it
