My default browser is Safari, but I also use Firefox and Chrome, keeping them all updated. That said, I have the same problem in all of them.
When I signed up with wordpress in June 2009, I set up three blogs, two of which I never use and they have nothing on them.
blogbisogno.wordpress.com (forwarded to Blog-Bisogno.com) is the only one I use and I normally work on it on a daily basis.
Would it be of any help if I delete the two blogs I never use?
I cannot get in to my admin pages from blogbisogno.wordpress.com. There is only one way I can get into my admin pages and that is through a previously created tab in Safari to my posts admin page, or by going to http://wordpress.com/post. I am able to type in the visual tab, but the html tab is not working. Also I can not add media to the draft or import media into the wordpress media library.
I hate to repeat anything but my mind keeps going back to this, and i don’t think it was ever addressed:
Allow this website to use space on your disk?
The website “https://wordpress.com” is requesting 10 MB of disk space to store “calypso” as a database on your disk. Currently, this website is allowed to use 5 MB of Disk Space.I clicked on “Don’t Allow” because I didn’t know what “calypso was. Is this my problem?

I am also having a problem, posted to support a moment ago. Using Firefox 46.0. I cannot access My Site to do anything. I get a scripting error “A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.

No. You can leave them up.
Did the other browsers ask about disk space too? Are you having the very same problem in all browsers or is it a bit different depending?
And please confirm exactly which pages will not load (and whether they stop loading or what). You can paste their URLs here. Thanks :)

Hi @carolslib, I’ll find your thread and follow up with you there. We haven’t been able to duplicate the issue @mrbisogno is having yet but if it turns out you really are both having the same problem, we’ll go from there.

Update: Ever since I started this thread, I have been trying to create a draft on either Safari (my default browser), Firefox and Chrome with no success. About an hour ago, I went to GoogleChrome, typed in http://wordpress.com/post and was able to create a new draft. It looks as if it is all there on the preview page, but whether or not it will post correctly I don’t know yet. The problem still exists on Chrome. While working on the draft, it was extremely slow, and the gravitars of people why have liked does not appear.

Chrome: There are still loading problems (continues to load for about 15 minutes) and the gravitars of bloggers who liked are not working, but for the first time I am able to get to my admin section from the front page.
Safari: Same problems as with Chrome, only there is still no access to admin from the front page.
Firefox: Same situation as Safari.

Yes, I guess I should have said Dashboard. The way I usually work is to put my blog front page, stats, posts, and comments in separate browser tabs and save them because I find this the quickest way to bounce back and forth wile working on the blog. This practice saved me when the problem started. I found the only way I could get into Blog-Bisogno.com was to go to posts through a pre-saved browser tab.
Even though I had found a way in to create a post, everything was blank which I reported to you. Since then, I have discovered that if you wait long enough (15-20 min.) everything shows up and I can create a draft and then post it. The post appearing at the top of my blog was posted in spite of the problem. It took forever to complete and there are still many other issues that continue…such as not being able to like someone’s comment, no likes showing up on the page, etc.
This is my first problem with wordpress since joining in 2009, and I can’t believe it is the first time anyone has ever had this problem. The Happiness Engineers seem as stymied as I am. I have a very fast cable internet connection and everything else on the web is flying. It is only my wordpress blog that takes 15-20 minutes to load, and gravitars that never load no matter how long you wait.

I called my internet provider Time Warner Cable again. This time they checked all the settings on my router and changed quite a few of them (I was able to watch them work on my monitor). The same problem still exists on WordPress, however the rest of the web is a tad faster than before.

Can you try using a different browser to see whether you can reproduce the issue? This will help us determine whether it’s something specific with the browser you’re using. Our supported browsers are here:
Also, are you using any virus scanners? If not, it would be worth scanning your system for malware. AVG is a good one and it’s free:

I can reproduce the issue in every browser. Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. Chrome is the only browser that the Dashboard shows up in, but it still has all the other issues. I was able to make a post tonight, but it took forever.

This is so strange! I have no idea what it is. Are you still getting the error message that starts like this:
“The website “https://wordpress.com” is requesting 10 MB of disk space to store “calypso” …”

I just found another problem: The links to the gravitars on this wordpress forum thread page have broken links…probably from the beginning, but I just noticed it now!

I downloaded AVG AntiVirus, scanned my entire computer, and put a few things that were suspect in quarantine. My blog problem still exists. What’s next?
