Blog won't accept the password
-
All my posts are password protected. At this moment, the system is not accepting the password. I have checked the settings and confirmed the password, but when you go back to the actual blog site, the password is not being accepted.

Please try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache first: http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
If that doesn’t work, try changing the password again.

It’s not just my computer. One of my students first told me about it when she couldn’t log in. I tried to log in on my school computer and discovered that the student was right. I then came home and encountered the same problem, so it wouldn’t appear to be a problem with this computer.
Also, each post has a password, but it is the same password. It doesn’t matter which post I try to log into– none of them work.

Only once. I took off the password and made a post public. I then went to the site to confirm that the post could be seen. I made it password protected again, went back to the site and this time it took the password. I closed the browser, reopened and went back to the site, once again it wouldn’t take the password.
I would be inclined to believe it’s my browser except the issue is happening on multiple computers in multiple locations and, like I said, my students also can’t log in.

Just curious, is there any luck at all if you clear your cookies and cache? That would at least help us pin-point the issue.

No, I cleared all cookies and the cache, but the password still won’t go through. I have no problem logging into the admin side of my site, though.
Thanks for all your help. I’m using this blog in my classroom and my students have an assignment due by 11:59 tonight. Strangely, it appears at least one of my students was able to log in and post because I received the email notification earlier today. However, several other students say they are having the same problem I am.
