Blog won't let me sign in, login info is correct

  I recently registered a domain name and started a blog with WordPress. When I tried to sign-in to my blog at WordPress it wasn’t taking my password, so I had it send me an email to do a password reset. That worked fine. But when I logged in, I noticed that it had my username wrong from a previous blog I had helped with for a business client in 2008. So I went into the Profile area and changed the username. Now it doesn’t matter whether I try to sign in using my email address or my user name, it no longer gives me access to my blog and I get the notice that I need to notify the owner. But I AM the owner. When I asked it to send an email requesting permission, that email came to me at my correct email address, so I know the system knows I am that person. But when I log in now, it doesn’t show my blog among my Blogs (it thinks I don’t have any) and I don’t have access to my own blog or my own website URL (a domain which I registered). I now have a blog and website URL I can no longer use thanks to WordPress. Please help me.

  You did not specify a blog address. Please post the URL starting with http:// for the blog in question.

  That is a free hosted WordPress.com blog. You are in the correct support forum. You need to contact Staff directly for help. Support is closed over the weekend. It will reopen on Monday, November 7th. I will flag this thread for Staff attention. Please be patient while waiting.

  The blog and domains you’re referring to belongs to an entirely different user account.
