Blogcu BK Changed hosting, but wordpress still points to the first
-
Hey,
I recently set up a website using WordPress on my own, personal server. When I had finished setting up the site, I exported (and later imported) the MySQL database and moved the files onto the new server via FTP.
However, when I try to navigate around the site, the URL changes from http://www.example.com to http://localhost/ (i.e. it links back to the page on MY server). I remember having the same problem a while back with phpBB and I got it sorted out with a mod that changed the cookies to point to the new site, and I was wondering if there was any such mod for WordPress?
If anyone could give me a bit of guidance on this matter, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We do not provide support for that site here at WordPress.COM because it is not hosted here. We do NOT provide support for local installs of WordPress.ORG software.
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Hi there,
Yes our volunteers are correct. Please go to WordPress.org for support with your self-hosted site. It might be a good idea to contact your host for assistance as well.
Sorry we couldn’t be of more help!

I think my issue here https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/attention-support-staff-forum-thread-comments-in-spam-filter?replies=4 could be related to this spammer using copies my comments to spam with.
