Blogdesk and proxy servers
-
I am trying to use Blogdesk from behind a proxy server and the blogdesk forums are a little unhelpful on how to get it to work (http://forum.blogdesk.org/viewtopic.php?t=236&highlight=proxy). The error I am getting is “HTTP 407 Proxy Authentication Required”. I cannot figure out how to configure the proxy. Any ideas?

Blogdesk forums are *VERY* unfriendly. I can’t even get an account over there as the author thinks my email address (gmail) is of a spammer. He stated that he deletes most new account that sign up for his forums.
What proxy server are you using?

No idea – big corporate one and we normal users are not given such important information.
I have the IP address and port, but I cannot see where to put it in blogdesk. -
Someone p[lease bump this in a couple of hours and I’ll take a looksee. I don’t want to view the IP address from this computer since I have an actual account and me doing so may cause trouble.
