Hi All,
Just a quick question: After i Import the Blogger pages (blogs) over to my wp account, can i delete my original blogger blog? or if i delete my blog site on blogger will the imported pages on wp be deleted as well?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. I don’t think there’s any impact, unless of course your WP.com posts link to content actually hosted on Blogger.
This being said, you may want to at least keep a notice on your Blogger site to give your visitors your blog’s new address, no?

If you delete the pages over at blogger your WordPress.com Posts will still be safe – can you set the blogger site to Private and keep all visitors and bots out of it? Then if you find a problem with the transfer you can still go and copy the old stuff – you do want to keep the search engines out as they don’t like duplicate content.

I’m curious… If they keep a notice on their site saying they have moved to WordPress.com, does that fall into duplicate content? -
A notice that they have moved would not be duplicate – but if any of the old stuff was visible to a search engine would be duplicate and bad – but then telling them to set how ever many Posts to some sort of private would be a task – leaving a note is good.
I wonder if blogger has some sort of redirect or forward?
Or maybe their idea of just deleting things might be the best as long as they leave a “I have moved” notice –
Maybe we can really get them confused with all the options?? :)
