other blogger comments are not showing up on my blog. I believe I have the settings right and people are registering so what is the problem?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you looking for them here under “pending”?

Oh piffle!
This blog has no blogger created content. There’s noting to comment on. http://mocovoice.wordpress.com/
Which blog are you referring to?
What is the URL starting with http:// ? -
http://mocovoice.wordpress.com is the site. There is a short “Welcome to the Blog” as this used to be a Xanga blog until it was migrated to WordPress.
I have looked both “comments” and “pending” and the comments are not there. The comments being made are going straight to my Gmail account instead of on the blog itself.

Aha! It’s a xanga import issue. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.
-
-
Not to worry as it will all work out in the end. Have you read the support doc? http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-xanga/
-
That’s how my older blogs got to WP. My blogs are showing up fine but bloggers comments are not posting to the blog. They are going to mt gmail only. So far only one registered blogger’s comment has gone to the blog. Four others have only gone to email and the bloggers are not waiting approval.
-
Are the comments in the spam filter?

Thanks for looking and please be patient while waiting for Staff. They have to answer all the threads tagged for their attention before this one was tagged.

DAYS…my blog has been down for almost over two weeks already because of this migration from Xanga. This migration was not ready to be done. It should have been postponed until both sides were ready…not weeks later. Is this all the Support WordPress offers? Isn’t there a tech number I can call?
-
Staff are providing support for over 38 million. They deal with support threads and tickets in order from the earliest dates ones to the most recent ones. You are in queue and patience is required. There is no phone support and there is no line jumping.

Welcome to WordPress.com. I’m sorry you’re finding our system frustrating. I hope we can sort things out for you!
On your new post that you made on WordPress.com (rather than one of your posts that was imported) at http://cl.ly/image/0t3f24353E1c , you have a contact form at the top of the post, and then a comment box underneath.
If people fill out the contact form, it will go to your email, rather than appear on your post.
This screenshot shows the contact form on your post:

Thanks for the email but now I am totally confused! I looked at the links you sent but I can’t find a way to get rid of that comment box in the Feedback area. Also I can’t find any widgets on the sidebar. I think I am going to go crazy. All I wanted was a simple blog and this is so complicated for a “non-blog geek”. Can you send me specific instructions on how to remove this Comment thing? The links you sent don’t show how to do that.
-
I’m not sure I understand which you wish to remove. Based on what you posted before, I’m guessing you don’t want the contact form. If that’s the case, go into your post and remove the following shortcode:
[ contact-form ][contact-field label='Name' type='name' required='1'/][contact-field label='Comment' type='textarea' required='1'/][ /contact-form ]
And then update your post.
For your sidebar, you can add any widgets you want at
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/Note that we automatically populate a new blog’s sidebar with widgets. If you add a single widget of your own, the others will disappear. If you don’t want anything to show up, you can just add a single text widget without any content.
