Blogger Comments Not Working

  I have a blog on Blogger (along with 3 here on WP) and I find that when I comment on WP blogs with my Blogger ID that the comments simply do not happen. I know some people may have their blog set to receive only WP comments (although this strikes me as being counter productive) but it is simply happening across the board.
  Anyone else experience this and what might the reason? (Have searched but Blogger with a capitol “B” does not seem to work in serach)

  The reason is that so many Blogger blogs are associated with spam that Akismet automatically puts them in the moderation queue or spam one unless you’ve got a pre-approved comment using that URL on the particular blog you’re commenting on at the time. At least, that’s my informed speculation.

  Ok, thanks, Rain, but that is really a drag. On the other hand, I ask myself if I can do this project without WP and the answer is, of course!

  You could contact akismet staff on Monday and ask to be whitelisted.
