Blogger Domain moving to WordPress

So I got a blog through Blogger and purchased a Domain and mapped it. Found out that the blog was limited and that even though it’s my domain part of the template links back to Blogger.com and gets blocked by filters in public computers. Interestingly the filters let wordpress.com work smoothly. So I’m trying to map my domain to a blog on wordpress.com but its not working.

It keeps pointing to my old blog which I had blogger release the domain from. So now is 404. I can make both the wordpress blog url and the new domain both point a blogger blog not found page or I can make the wordpress url work and have my domain 404. My domain is TheTechManual.com my blog url is TheTechManual.WordPress.com

It said to wait at most 72 hours to see the NS1.wordpress.com and ns2.wordpress.com on WHOIS, but that takes place within minutes. It doesn’t say that the 404 will go away after 72 hours and point to the blog.

I just don’t want to wait days to find out that it wasn’t going to work. If it’s not going to work then I need to know as soon as possible.

I can confirm it is pointing to wordpress.com right now and your domain is showing up on wordpress.com as your domain. The fact that you can’t see it is probably your ISP hasn’t updated to the newest DNS yet. It will happen. If you do a search for your Operating system and “flush dns cache” you can help speed up the process possibly.

Ok so while I’m getting a 404 even on my iPhone it will eventually point to my blog right? It just needs time.
