Blogger Import Error

  I’m trying to import my posts from Blogger and I keep running into an error
  when WP tries to back up my Blogger publishing setting. I get a Blogger screen that
  indicates I’m publishing on Blogspot, though I am not. When I hit the link that
  says “switch to FTP” I get a 404 error.

  Any ideas?

  i believe the blogger import tool requires you to be publishing to blogspot.

  best bet is to log in to your blogger dashboard, temporarily change your publishing settings to a temporary blogspot location, run the import, and then switch back (if you want)

  Do I actually need to republish my whole blog onto blogspot? I tried just saving the blogspot settings and running the importer again, but got the same error.
