I am resubmitting this because after 5 days I’ve still gotten no answer to my question. I have moved from wordpress.com to selfhosting. My subscribers and history were moved. I have 2 questions. 1) why did my LIKES not move too and 2) am I still appearing in the WordPress reader for my followers there and if not how will they see my new posts?

Likes cannot be exported.
No once you move content into to self hosting a WordPress.org install note that the install is not part of the WordPress.com community. It’s a stand alone island and the posts do not automatically appear in the WordPress.com Reader because the site is not hosted by WordPress.com. -
so then how do half of my followers, which were through WordPress.com, see my posts then?

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate.
how do half of my followers, which were through WordPress.com, see my posts then?They have to choose to enter your blog’s URL into the sites they follow at http://wordpress.com/following/edit/ Or enter they enter the URL into any other feed reader.

well crap. How do I let them know to do that now? I’ve already migrated. the jetpack doesn’t keep me linked into wordpress.com? I’m not at wordpress.org btw.I know it’s separate. I was told by wordpress.com support that only those wordpress.com subscribers who had signed up for email would have to again and that I had to let them know. nothing else.

Your email followers will continue to receive email updates, and your WordPress.com followers will continue to see your new posts in the Reader. If your WordPress.com followers would like to receive email updates, as well, they can subscribe via email on your new blog.
