Blogger to WordPress

    Hello,

    I clicked on Blogger instead of WordPress when creating my blog after purchasing my domain and I don’t want to Blogger. Now I am being asked to purchase a plan on WordPress, when I already paid money for my site. Is this normal?I was under the impression that by paying for my page address, I will not have to pay again. I do not want to be billed twice.

    Hi there,

    If you’ve purchased a deal with Blogger, that does not have an effect on anything on WordPress.com and you will still be charged here. After all, they are two separate companies.

    You can transfer a domain to WordPress.com, but you’ll need to check with Blogger to see if you can purchase just the domain or if it’s included always with a plan. Alternatively, you could just register one here on WordPress.com.
