Blogger to WordPress Import Not Working

  I’m trying to import my Blogger blog to WordPress, using the WordPress import, and am having trouble. Everytime I click “import” it says it is “importing…”, but it continues to show 0/0 posts and comments even after 15-20 minutes of waiting. If I come back to the page later, it no longer says “importing…”, but instead says, “Set Authors”. I tried going there and it says there is a form to fill out, but all there is are two titles: “Blogger username” and “WordPress login” and a button “Save Changes”. I can seemingly do nothing on this page and yet, it appears that WordPress will not continue with my import until I’ve done something.

  Also, both of my blogs are private, so it requires a password to get in. But WordPress never asked me for the password into my Blogger account; only for permission to access that account. Can anyone help me??? I’m in over my head and don’t know what to do!!

  Fixed it…did a bit of brainstorming with one my friends who uses Blogger, and I thought of making both blogs public for the import. It worked!! I don’t know why I didn’t think of that earlier. Yay!! So happy to be on WordPress!!
