Blogger to wordpress.com
-
I have been using blogger but it drives me a little crazy sometimes. I have been exploring the layout of a possible future blog with workers. So far I like it a lot better here. One problem I am having is setting up my adsense. How can I fix this?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi misselizabethfox,
Glad to here you like it here better, however, advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com is not allowed.
There is an advertising program called WordAds, which you can read more about here:
If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. Please see this link to learn about the differences:

I just downloaded wordpress.org to play with. So far I am completely confused. How hard is it to figure out if you don’t know code?

There’s more of a learning curve with setting up a self-hosted blog over the WordPress.com hosting option. Of course, both have their advantages and disadvantages.
You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
I also recommend that you check out https://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/11/14/com-or-org/ for an in-depth look at the two WordPress options.
You may wish to continue with WordPress.com for a while and as you become more comfortable with the platform, try your hand at working with a self-hosted version.
