Blogger to WP problem. Only Gibberish shows. Show HTML problem?

I have spent hours trying to find the answer to my issue, and I hate being the guy that asks a question that is already answering 100x, but I couldn’t find it anywhere, I swear.
I just opened a WordPress.com blog and tried to convert my 100 posts from Blogger.
Seems easy. Just a couple presses and done. Wrong!
For some reason, some setting must be OFF. The HTML came over and the brackets were all stripped out. So missing < and missing > in all 100 posts. Now there are no line breaks, no htmls etc. I would post the URL here, but it has a temp URL that I dont want Google crawling. But his is what it looks like:
style=”color: rgb(255, 0, 0);”bottom of the housing market/spanspan class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-weight: normal;”, and I proceeded to ask my pal about the Virginia housing market and bank properties. /span/divdivspan class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-weight: normal;”br //span/divdivspan class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-weight: normal;”
What in the world happened? And yes the server has the latest version of WP.
