Blogger vs. WordPress

  What are everyone thoughts about blogger vs. wordpress?

  Why make the move ? blogger sucks in comparison to WordPress

  I was curious about other blogsites besides WordPress and looked at blogger a few days ago.

  The first thing I noticed is that blogger is owned by google.

  WordPress is developed open source, and the WordPress support is fantastic.

  I’m looking forward to improving my use of WordPress, and have been recommending it to others.

  By definition, everyone who is here is hosted by WordPress.com; that means that they’ve already made a choice.

  I should say of my post above, that blogger isn’t all that bad, and my initial reason for getting a test blog over there was to play with the HTML and CSS side of things, but when I discovered that they include over 300 built-in XHTML errors on a blank blog, my curiosity waned. The errors aren’t really earth shattering, but that makes it all the more puzzling as to why they are there in the first place.

  Some people find the blogger interface and way of doing things intuitive, and some do not. For me I prefer wordpress.
