"# bloggers like this" links to Gravatar profile instead of blog

  I think the photos of bloggers who “liked” a post used to link to their blogs. Now it links to their Gravatar profile, which does not always have a link to their blog.

  This is somewhat frustrating, preventing me from exploring their blog (a common motive for people to “like” posts) or from contacting them.

  I’m not sure whether this is a bug or just an annoying new “feature”.

  Suggestions:

  1. Consider reverting this change: “Blogger likes” would link to the blog, not the Gravatar profile.

  2. Alternatively, consider notifying all bloggers to add their blog to their Gravatar profile so that others can find it (news to me).

  3. Random Aside: Consider offering an optional contact form on the Gravatar profile, forwarded anonymously to the owner’s primary email (or specified email) so they can be contacted directly (aside from a public email address, blog comment, or blog contact form). This would be like the about.me pages used to have (*sigh*) and could make my Gravatar profile my contact card on the web.
