Blogging through Flickr
-
Hi,
I was trying to blog directly from flickr.
For a wordpress account, flickr says it needs an endpoint:
” Note: WordPress users, your API Endpoint is
http://your.blog.address/xmlrpc.php “
and when i appended ” /xmlrpc.php ” to my wordpress.com’s URL,it wasnt accepted,i was wondering if someone could help me with this.
Its not really esential but it would really make it easier as someone told me wordpress hosts only 25 mb of user filesThank you

Might help if you tell us what you are trying to do. Remember that XML-RPC isn’t for browsers.

i tried what you did and it failed the first time. i tried it again later and it worked. i’m pretty sure i didn’t have any typos either, so my only suggestion is try doing it again. :)

Byam – I wrote an article on blogging with Lifeblog and Flickr a few days ago.
You can ignore the lifeblog bit, but the flickr bit might help some:

Same here. I did it and the first time it didn’t work also. I tried submitting it again and it worked.

And you’re telling that to use for what reason? Do you need help? Do you have a question? I’m afraid we need more to go on if you do need assistance. I can assure you that it does work. :)

Well i can assure that it does not work. For 2 days i try now to configure flickr and i end up with the same thing as mentioned above “Note: WordPress users, your API Endpoint is
http://your.blog.address/xmlrpc.php” …i found that APi, but on my dashbord/users/profile, copy/paste on flickr and…”The endpoint you entered was not correct”Is there any solution to this or i have to pray that if i keep trying, maybe it will bloody work?

hmm, it is confusing, thats all i can say…for others that have this problem : you got to put “http://yourblogname.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php ” in that box, not the API that you have on wordpress.
