Blog/home page that is not static

  Hi. I’m using the ChaoticSoul theme and can’t seem to get a Blog/Home/whatever “page” to appear in the sidebar that will redirect the viewer back to the opening page (ie. where the most recent post lives).

  Is this possible in this theme? How do I create it?

  The blog name itself is the link in that case, if I’m not mistaken. If you really want it in the sidebar you can just post it in a text widget or put yourself in your own blogroll, but don’t use the category “Blogroll” so it sits apart from that one.

  Thanks for that. Yes, the blog name does link to the frontpage, but I’d like to have it in the sidebar…

  No way to create a fake “home” page that automatically redirects to the most recent post page? Or is that getting unduly complicated?

  No, no automatic redirects in WP.com, not even within the blog. Use the text widget link, call it HOME or something, and put it at the top of the sidebar.
