Bloglovin button isn't showing

  Hi!

  I’ve been trying to add a Bloglovin button on my blog. Unfortunately, the button isn’t showing.

  I’ve taken all necessary steps:
  1. Claim my blog
  2. Copy the html code
  3. Go to appearance > Widgets
  4. Add a text widget
  5. Copy the code
  6. Save

  If I give the text widget a title, only the title appears on my blog, but still no button that people can click on.

  Please HELP?!!

  JavaScript code cannot be pasted into a text widget on WordPress.com. You’ll need to get a plain HTML version of the button from Bloglovin’ to be able to paste it into your text widget.

  You can learn more about the types of code that are allowed here:

  You’d be off to a start with:

  <img src="http://www.bloglovin.com/widget/bilder/en/widget.gif" alt="Het tevreden leven van een student">

  If you want the badge to link somewhere, you can just wrap it in an anchor tag with the appropriate link, like:

  <a href="http://wordpress.com"><img src="http://www.bloglovin.com/widget/bilder/en/widget.gif" alt="Het tevreden leven van een student"></a>

  Just replace http://wordpress.com with your real URL.

  Thank you very much!
  I’ve tried both links, but none of them are showing any button or whatsoever on my blog. Still, only the title of the widget appears on my blog.
  I probably make a very silly mistake, but I can’t figure it out :(

  I’ve claimed my blog successfully, but I still don’t get the Bloglovin icon/badge/thing to appear on my blog. I’ve used both codes you provided me in a previous comment, Kathryn.

  Maybe it’s just not for me :p

  I’m still not seeing any text widgets at all on your site – this is what I see:

  

  You only have widgets in the Main Sidebar area, and you currently have: Top Posts & Pages, Search, Follow Blog, Instagram, Categories, Image, and Archives widgets present. No text widget!

  Just to confirm – is this the correct site? https://tevredenstudentenleven.wordpress.com/

  Could you please try re-adding the text widget with your Bloglovin’ code so I can take a look?
