Bloglovin' only picks up 4 posts from my RSS feed

    Hi,

    I recently moved my blog across to WordPress from Blogger and asked Bloglovin’ to redirect my followers over here. This was all fine, however my blog profile on Bloglovin’ only shows 4 posts and also doesn’t show any images. I contacted Bloglovin’ and they said the following:

    “You only have 4 posts in your RSS-feed, so we could only find those 4.

    http://octobereleven.com/feed/

    In order to get your images on Bloglovin, your RSS-feed needs to contain images. If your RSS-feed is not containing any images, this is the reason why Bloglovin is not displaying them. In this case, you will have to change the settings of your RSS-feed and not the settings on Bloglovin.”

    I was wondering if someone could help with this?

    Hi Ceri,

    I noticed that your site is set to only display 4 posts on each page, and Bloglovin’ is only displaying 4 items. It may be that despite them stating that they pull off of your RSS feed, they also pull in some way from your front of site. If you change your site so that it shows additional blog posts, that may help.

    Other than that, I’m not quite sure what to tell you. Your RSS feed is displaying correctly, so I’m not quite sure why only 4 items would be showing up. Any additional information you might run across would be helpful!

    Hi,

    Thanks very much for your reply.

    I did wonder if that might be the case after a little bit of fiddling about in my settings, and I did adjust this to see if it made any difference, but it didn’t do anything – although thinking about it now I’m wondering if perhaps it takes a while to take effect.

    I did manage to get the photos to show up though (not sure how I did that if I’m honest!) but I’d prefer to only have a few posts on my homepage so I think I might just have to leave it as it is on Bloglovin’.
