blogroll additions not showing, cat’s right, cache right

I’ve read lots of the questions and perused the links posted about blogrolls disappearing and checking off categories and waiting for the site to cache. For some reason, these are not my problems. I deleted all categories except ‘blogroll’ and each link has that as its category. Sidebar 2 has the Links widget at level 4 showing the Blogroll, but not all my links.
I noticed that the actual “edit links” page changed! It no longer has the ‘link address’ between the title and the description boxes. This is most likely the problem. I’ve been adding the link addy into the description box, thinking that was where the addy box was previously.
Any ideas from the most worthy blogmeisters, blessedpath, et al?? Thx ~Lisa, Get d’Clu

Can we have the link to your WordPress.com blog starting with http? If your blog is self-hosted, you need to ask on the WordPress.org forum because the software here runs differently. http://wordpress.org/support/

Edit each link and make sure that the URL is in the “web address” field would be the first thing to do. Next, at least temporarily I would go to appearance > widgets open the links widget and make sure it is set like in this image: http://opposablethumbz.wordpress.com/files/2009/08/links.png .

I changed all descriptions to just link name as req’d.
There is no ” web addy” field showing, but when I copied the page to show here, it pasted WITH the addy line. What’s going on?

The web address box is not present anywhere in my edit or add new link area. I looked all over for it in case I moved it by accident – no luck. Like I said above, it just disappeared.

So the “web address” field that is in the center of the image I took is not there?
Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and then try again.

Apparently I need to use FireFox in order to see the webpage properly. Not sure why. I’ll just add my links using FF in lieu of IE.
