G’day,
Did you notice that we have the option to display Categories in the Categories as a dropdown menu now? http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/Did you mean something else?

Perhaps I said the wrong thing (with so much going who would’nt get confused) I was just in the appearance section re-arranging a few things, however all my long “swagg titled” items such as Blackplanet, Myspace, Youtube all need a dropdown list. I would hate to make them inactive, but it really does look cluttered *severely* any suggestions?,

I don’t use the Links widget for my blogroll display. My suggestion is to create a static Page and put them there. (Example: See my Links page which currently displays my soon to be eliminated completely blogroll.).

(1) Although we do not have drop-down you could include a scrollbar on such a page to make the Page shorter in length. This post refers to scrollbars in text widgets but the width can be adjusted for use on a static Page http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2008/08/17/adding-scroll-bars-to-text-widgets/
(2) You could also consider making all the Categories headings into page jump links and have an index of them all at the top of the Links/Blogroll Page.

I’m sorry I forgot to post this link for you above. http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps/

Thank you TT for the info, I have now de-activated just to see what it would look like and it does look better, guess its because we’re limited within WP.com to what themes are availible which makes it a little bit light on options for usage. I think 5 will be the lucky number meaning i`ll have no more than 5 of anything showing hopefully that will make it look less crammed, hopefully the guys wont mind me changing things.
