blogroll and my own links

  I was watching a video in which he created a link called “Friends and Links”. He said it is basically similar to Blogroll. So he created (Link-> category) and called the category (Friends and Links), the following is screen shot:

  

  and then created some links under that category and once he refreshed his screen the “Friends and Links
  title appears below “Blogroll”

  my questions
  1) I all the sudden do not see Blogroll in the right hand side of my blog? it used to be there.. and i do not see it under Widget?

  2) I created new Category under Link, why i do not see it the same way this screen shot is showing?

  any help would be very much appreciate it. thanks

  Without the link to the video you were watching, how can we even guess?

  i guess you are right. thank you very much. i actually tried myself and i now know the answer. i know i was not clear in my post. it is called Link widget i need to use. thanks a lot.
