Blogroll and Tag Cloud have Vanished from Homepage

Mine are gone too, sorry I opened a separate support thing because I hadn’t see this one.
It’s definitely not fixed though.

Thank God everyone else is in the same boat! I thought it was my futzing with the sidebar widgets. Looks like the problem is on the server end, then?!

Try going to design > widgets, remove the widget from the sidebar and “save changes” then add it back in and again “save changes”. Someone reported that that worked for them.

How about this: Instead of making all of us contact support, which may or may not be available, why not just fix the problem at the source? Seems easier for everyone, right? I have the same problem, and I’ll contact support, but hey — it’s a known general issue and requires a higher order solution, does it not?

I’m sorry for the problems. We are trying to track down a caching bug that is causing this. I have fixed the recent blogs listed here with the problem.

You didn’t have the Links widget added to your sidebar. As soon as I added it, the links are shown in the sidebar. I didn’t have to clear out cache or anything. -

my blogroll and tag cloud are missing as well. And in the calendar, you used to be able to see entry names by resting cursor over a date; that is no longer working either. I did contact support. I also tried removing and adding those widgets again as well as tried different themes but no luck. This stuff was there this morning.

Fixed and also replied to your support ticket.We’ve been able to track this down a bit, but keep digging to find the bug causing it.

Our problem is slightly different…but all blogs (the ones I know, anyway) that use the Fadtastic theme also have this ‘disappearance’, albeit it’s our most recent post’s excerpt that vanished from the homepage. Maybe it has the same cause? I’ve sent a mail to the support.

Problem with Fadtastic is fixed as well. It was related to some work we were doing with Sticky posts last night in the themes.If your blog is not linked to your username, please make sure to leave it in your reply so we can quicky fix it. Thanks!
