Blogroll applies for the whole site ?

  I have several blogs on my site and each of them would need different blogrolls
  But WP seems not to have this flexibility but forces me to use the same blogroll for the whole site
  What can I do to have different blogs with different rolls ?
  Do I have to create new sites with new usernames etc. that is not so convenient.
