How do I get my blogroll to display on the right or left side of the top of my blog page rather than the bottom?

Please note that the widgets in this theme are designed to be in the footer.
Even though Manifest doesn’t display widgets by default, it has support for two widget areas in the footer. To activate those, you just need to drag your widgets there.
The only way to move the widgets from the footer to the sidebar would be to edit CSS, which would require the Custom Design upgrade. In addition to editing the CSS you would be able to add custom fonts/colors to your site.
If you don’t want to pay for the upgrade, I recommend switching themes since many of our themes have widgets in the sidebar. You can take a look here:
